About Laura

You’re probably here because you want to know a bit about me. But before I hit you with the list of things I do, I want you to know: the life you see now didn’t happen overnight. Change is possible — but it takes work, and it’s messy.
I’ve been through anxiety, trauma, low self-worth, and a lot of uninspiring jobs that left me drained.
A few years ago, I was barely keeping my head above water. Then I started taking small, deliberate steps: diving into self-help, creative practices, yoga, and showing up for myself day after day. Slowly, my world began to change.
Now, I write and perform my own songs as LAWZIE, work as a Music for Wellbeing practitioner, teach trauma-informed yoga, and help people reclaim their creativity, confidence, and joy. Life is exciting and full of possibilities.
Over the years, I’ve learned you don’t need to be fearless or have a perfect plan. You just have to decide that where you are right now isn’t where you want to stay.
If you stick around, maybe some of what I’ve learned will help you take your own small steps toward a life you actually want.
Love,
Lucky Lawzie
My Coaching Philosophy
I believe there is nothing “wrong” with you.
The parts of you that feel stuck, small, ashamed, scared or “not enough” didn’t appear out of nowhere — they were shaped by trauma, conditioning, expectations, and environments that didn’t know how to hold you. You learned to survive. You learned to stay quiet. You learned to shrink yourself to stay safe. That was never weakness. That was intelligence.
But survival patterns don’t build fulfilling lives.
My work is about helping you reconnect with the part of you that has always known who you are — the part that is creative, powerful, loving, connected and deeply worthy. I help you rewrite the stories that kept you small, calm the nervous system that’s still bracing for impact, and build a life that actually fits you.
I blend mindset work with body awareness, emotional honesty with compassion, spiritual truth with real-world action. No bypassing. No pretending. No “good vibes only” nonsense.
I will be your biggest cheerleader.
Just truth, courage, grounded love — and the gentle but unapologetic reminder that you were always meant for more than survival.

Discography
I’ve always used songwriting as a way to express emotions that I sometimes find hard to put into words. Each track is a snapshot of a feeling, a moment, or a story I needed to tell. Music has been my most honest form of creative expression — and sharing it is my way of connecting with others.
Below, you will find a link to my music on Band Camp. Band Camp is the best way to support independent musicians, but if you prefer a different platform, you will be able to find my music there.

Music for Wellbeing
Music has always been the thing that brings me home to myself.
As LAWZIE, I write and perform my own songs, but I also work as a Music for Wellbeing practitioner, singing with people with Alzheimer’s, stroke survivors, and SEND adults and children. In this world, I am known as Music Laura.
And honestly? It’s magic.
I’ve witnessed moments where a familiar song lights up someone’s face, sparks movement in hands and feet, or unlocks a memory that words alone can’t reach. Music connects us — to our joy, our memories, and to each other — in ways that are profound, gentle, and deeply human.
It connects us — to memory, to joy, to each other.
